About VMF

The Faroese Securities Market (VMF) is the stockexchange of the Faroe Islands. VMF is a newstock exchange in Nordic comparison. VMF wasestablished in 2000 as a limited company.

VMF is a partner of NASDAQ OMX Iceland. The main task of the VMF is to promote Faroesesecurities and to promote the Faroe Islands as a country in which to invest. VMF also sees as its task to work for a stronger securities investment environment within the Faroe Islands.
Four companies and three governmental bonds are listed on the VMF. The Faroese shares and bonds are listed in Danish Krone (DKK) and are issued in the Danish VP Securities.
