Acquisition of branches approved by FSA

In continuation of Føroya Banki´s announcement no 5/2010 the Bank hereby

announces, that the Danish FSA has approved the Bank´s acquisition of 12

branches from Sparbank A/S. The transaction is therefore finalised.
